About This Ceremony

Graduation Ceremony

The University of Nairobi's 69th Graduation Ceremony marks a significant milestone in our institution's history. This prestigious event will celebrate the academic achievements of over 3,500 graduates from various faculties including Medicine, Engineering, Business, Law, and Arts.

The ceremony will feature keynote addresses from distinguished guests, including the Cabinet Secretary for Education and industry leaders. Graduands will receive their certificates in a dignified ceremony that upholds our tradition of academic excellence.

Important: All graduands must complete clearance procedures and gown booking at least 5 days before the ceremony date.

Guest Registration & Seating

All guests to be seated by 8:45 AM. Latecomers will not be admitted during the procession.

9:00 AM

Academic Procession

Entry of the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Council members, and faculty deans.

Opening Ceremony

National anthem, welcome remarks, and Chancellor's address.

10:15 AM

Keynote Address

Guest speaker: Cabinet Secretary for Education on "Innovation for Sustainable Development"

Conferment of Degrees

Certificates awarded by faculty: Medicine, Engineering, Business, Law, Arts, and Sciences.
